Iguodala addresses trade to Nuggets

Andre Iguodala was not surprised by his trade to the Denver Nuggets and he seemed quite refreshed about the change of scenery. While meeting with the media in London, Iguodala shared his thoughts.
"I'm happy to be in the NBA. Happy to still have a job," Iguodala said, "It's just a blessing, because only 400 guys get to play in the NBA. And I'm happy to be a player wanted by so many teams....With the way our game is now, you're not surprised by anything. You've got to expect the unexpected."

DeleteIggy is a great shooter, his numbers dropped this year cuz he was focusing on his defense, he lit it up from 3 in the Olympics, he will do better getting back to his old self in Denver offense. I just move to Denver last month, n I got season tickets, ill be rooting for iggy, he a good hard workin player.

ReplyDeleteIggy is a good shooter, the reason why his numbers have been done is because coach limited his offensive role on the team and concentrated more on his D and distribution of the ball. In Denver with that run and gun style which is perfect for iggy he will be hitting 16 - 18 point a game no doubt! Denver have potential to make some noise!

DeleteSo he forced a guy who was already a great defensive player to focus more on defense. He was already a good defensive player when he was averaging 18. But whatever I've only watched him and his horrible jumper for 8 years. We told everybody about McNabb to. That's ok you gon learn today.
ReplyDeleteneither team will make it to the finals. iggy had a better chance getting further in playoffs with 76ers cuz we all know the east doesn't have teams competing for every spot like the west.. Lets go lakers!

As a fan from Philly who watches every game, iggy is a great defensive player and vary athletic but he was never a num1 option. Lu Will our sixth man, averaged more points then iggy. His jumper is inconsistent he's athleticism comes in spurts. He's been the highest paid Sixers since A.I. lef and he's never put the team on his back and scored his way to a win. He's gonna make denver a threat bc of h8s defense they got enough offense. Don't get me wrong I'd still like to keep him but if I had to choose bynum or iggy with the roster we got I'm goin Bynum

Everyone who has commented is an idiot. Iggy is the 2nd best wing defender in the league and is also clearly an above average 3/2 guard offensively. Offense is more than just scoring, assists count too. And if a guy is a triple double threat he clearly can play a little offense. Also iggy has been the number one option for years in philly. Lou only scored more points than him because all lou can do is score, can't pass and can't play d, clearly why philly chose not to retain him. By the way go pittsburgh, only root for the sixers because we don't have a team, yet I still know more than all your retards.
