Gerald Green believes Pacers could have won it all

Despite playing with the New Jersey Nets for most of last season, Gerald Green truly appreciates the fact that he is back in the NBA.  Now with the Indiana Pacers, Green has seen what heights the NBA can bring and the lows it can also cast upon you as he was told 3 years that he wasn't good enough nor mature enough to make it in the league.  Stints overseas followed but Green is now back and ready to make an impact and at just 26 years of age, he still has time to blossom.  Green addressed the media recently at a workout session with new teammate Roy Hibbert.

"I just never thought I'd get another opportunity but I'm glad I'm back where I started......I always told myself when I was (in Russia), if I ever got another opportunity, I was going to be ready," Green says. "But I didn't think I was going to go out there and do what I did. I don't think nobody did....Last year, I think if we would have beat Miami, we could have had a chance to win the whole thing......That's our goal this year."
