According to sources, the Knicks are finalizing the terms for Mike Woodson to become the teams' permanent coach for at least 3 additional seasons.  Woodson had been the interim coach since mid-season when Mike D'Antoni resigned.  After becoming the interim coach of the team, Woodson saved the Knicks season via help from Jeremy Lin for a time and the reemergence of Carmelo Anthony before being stopped by the Miami Heat in the 1st round of the playoffs.  Woodson's new deal should be announced at some point this week due to team officials wanting to have the deal finalized before the Memorial Day Weekend.
