Oklahoma City Thunder G Dion Waiters may soon undergo an MRI due to soreness in his left foot. The ailment has caused limitations in recent games and came to a head Saturday evening against the Utah Jazz which saw Waiters only play five minutes on the second half and none in the 4th quarter.
“It just happened,” Waiters said. “Ever since, I thought it was something minor, like, I’ll be fine. And it got worse, especially at San Antonio, where I really couldn’t move. I couldn’t go east and west, lateral. The last couple of days have been better, but it’s still stopping me from actually putting a lot of pressure on it…It stops me from doing a lot of things.”
“Make sure it’s nothing too crazy or anything like that,” Waiters said. “Hopefully everything is fine with it. It probably needs rest and things like that. I’m the type of guy I don’t like to miss games so that’s why I’m out here.”
