Mavericks to pursue Stoudemire

In the event that Amar'e Stoudemire and the New York Knicks agree on a contract buyout, the Dallas Mavericks are rumored to be the front runners to land the veteran forward.  The Mavericks had been on contention to land free agent Jermaine O'Neal who has yet to decide to return to the NBA or retire.
