The future of Deron Williams

Reports traveled through NBA circles early Friday that Deron Williams was seeking a way out of Brooklyn and that the Nets front office were willing to oblige him if they could. Williams has had a lackluster tenure in his 3 plus seasons with the next and is slated to earn close to $63 million in the final 3 years of his contract thus making the possibility of moving Williams a tall tasks.
Sources from within the Nets organization told The Brooklyn Game that Williams has not requested a trade and is instead frustrated with his own play.
"He's frustrated," the source said. "He's not happy with himself. He's not up to his standards in the three years since we got him."
