Milwaukee Bucks C Larry Sanders did not play Wednesday evening due to an apparent thumb injury. Milwaukee police are currently investigating an incident where Sanders allegedly struck another a man over the head with a bottle and also punched the victim's brother in the eye while in the VIP room of a night club Saturday evening. Before the Bucks faced the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday, the franchise released the following statement:
"We are aware of an incident from Saturday evening. The matter is under investigation and Larry Sanders is cooperating fully. At this time we will have no further comment.”
Update: The Milwaukee County District Attorney's office has announced that no charges will be filed against Larry Sanders.
